From the days of its origins as a coaching inn, the hotel has been reputed for it’s warm hospitality and its fine food and ales; those old traditions still continue. Excellent home-made bar food is served in the unspoilt oak panelled Jenny Lind lounge bar, alternatively, choose from the daily changing fixed price menu served in the elegant candlelit surroundings of Nightingales Restaurant.
